Oberon South Primary School offers a stimulating academic program supported by strong community links. Nestled in the suburb of Belmont, the school’s grounds consist of expansive playgrounds, bicycle facilities, a community garden and large digitally rich learning spaces.

Our strong academic program is acknowledged for its daily hour in each of reading, writing and mathematics, along with an active 30 minutes of daily physical education.

Strong partnerships with numerous community organisations allows us to offer fantastic extracurricular programs including reading, literacy and numeracy classroom support, community garden, our daily breakfast program, the Bluearth Active Schools Program and a strong connection with Oberon High School. The Salvation Army’s ‘Just Brass’ program promotes not only individual musical instruction but also the opportunity to be part of a community band alongside the whole school recorder classes.

All of these partnerships promote building strong, supportive collaborative relationships.  Through maintaining the gardens, the breakfast program and life skills programs, students and volunteers work together to develop the attributes necessary to grow into self-disciplined, resilient and knowledgeable members of the learning community at Oberon South.

For further information please don’t hesitate to contact or visit the school.
